Cu Chi Tunnels

The Cu Chi Tunnels are a legendary underground system stretching over 250 km, a must-see for both Vietnamese and foreign travelers interested in the history of the Vietnam War. These tunnels are now a historical structure in Vietnam and are considered a heroic district for the role they played in the resistance against US forces during the Vietnam War.

Mekong Delta

The Mekong Delta, also known as the Nine Dragon River Delta due to its formation by nine rivers, lies immediately to the west of Ho Chi Minh City, featuring numerous rivers, islands, and canals. People here grow a lot of food like rice and fruit. You can see markets on boats where people sell various goods. It's important for nature and people's way of life, with many traditions and customs.

Vung Tau

Vung Tau, located on Vietnam's southeastern coast, is a charming coastal city known for its stunning beaches, vibrant seafood scene, and colonial-era architecture. Its picturesque coastline offers opportunities for relaxation, water sports, and breathtaking sunsets. Vung Tau's bustling streets are alive with the aroma of fresh seafood from bustling markets and restaurants. Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Today you’ll land at Tan Son Nhat Airport. The driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Check-in time is 14:00 (early check-in is not included). In the afternoon, relax at the hotel or explore Ho Chi Minh City on your own. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels + Ho Chi Minh City

Have breakfast at the hotel.

8:30: Pick up at the hotel and depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti-American war resistance during the Vietnam War. It is legendary for its over 250 km underground tunnel system and is a popular tourist site for both Vietnamese and foreigners. On the way to Cu Chi from Ho Chi Minh City, we will pass by the scenic local countryside, where you might even spot ducks and buffalo cooling off in the river. It’s hard to imagine the destruction and damage that once dominated the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “a free target zone.” After the tunnels, we’ll stop for a lunch of local Vietnamese cuisine before heading back to Ho Chi Minh. Here, we’ll visit the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975, The Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post Office, and the War Remnants Museum.

17:30: The tour finishes. Get dropped off at the hotel. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Mekong Delta Tour

Have breakfast at the hotel.

7:30: Pick up at the hotel and depart for the Mekong Delta. Enjoy the scenery and green rice paddies during the one-and-a-half-hour bus ride. Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta. Continue to My Tho, where we take a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses on the river. The boat takes you to a small canal, escaping the hustle and bustle of the town. We disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre and enjoy a walk around the village. Stop at a local family home to enjoy tropical fruit, taste honey tea and honey wine, and listen to Vietnamese traditional music performed by the villagers. Check out the coconut candy shop and learn how to make candy, and see handicrafts made from the coconuts. Take your time snapping photos and enjoy the natural scenery before we head to the local restaurant. Lunch is set with special Vietnamese food. Enjoy your lunch outside under the shade of the trees. After lunch, enjoy your time relaxing, walking around the village, or perhaps going for a short bike ride.

17:00: Back to Ho Chi Minh City and the end of the tour. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

9:00: Arrival at Vung Tau and leisure time at Thuy Van Beach (Back Beach) - one of the nicest beaches in Vietnam with the shore running for almost 10km, full of fine sand and white waves. Authentic Vietnamese lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon: Visit the Jesus Christ Statue, Thang Tam Temple (Whale Temple), Bach Dinh (also known as Villa Blanche in French or White Palace in English), and Cape Nghinh Phong. Taking a short break.

18:00: Back to Ho Chi Minh City and the end of the trip. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
