Saigon - Can Gio 1 Day Tour | Explore Nature and Culture

Detailed itinerary:

7h30: Our tour guide pick you up at booking agents and head to Can Gio, otherwise known as “Monkey Island”. On arrival, we visit mangrove forest to see over 1,000 monkeys, living there, you also can feed and take photos with many monkeys surrounding and climbing on your shoulder.

Continue with a short walk to the alligator farm, where local residents conserve numerous large alligators rescued from the aftermath of the “American War.” Here, you can also try your hand at “alligator fishing” (optional).

Afterward, hop aboard a speedboat to the “Sac” guerrilla camp, nestled deep in the jungle. This camp has transformed into a popular tourist destination, offering visitors a unique experience that provides insight into jungle life during the war. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere and imagine the challenges faced by those who lived in this environment.

Next, we will visit a local seafood market, where you can find a wide variety of fresh seafood, including octopus, lobster, and ray, as well as an assortment of dried foods. Here, you can enjoy a welcome drink of refreshing sugar cane juice. Following this, savor a delicious Vietnamese-style lunch at a beach resort, where you can relax, swim, and take in the beautiful sights around you.

Afternoon: Finally, we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city & end the tour at approximately 17:30 pm.
